What is CEREC?

It is the most modern computer CAD/CAM system for the production of metal-free all-ceramic restorations (prosthetics) in one visit to the dental office, so-called on the spot.

We can fabricate ceramic restorations of damaged tooth parts, crowns, veneers and smaller bridges. An all-ceramic denture is indistinguishable in appearance from the original tooth tissue and is durable and long-lasting.

Steps to the CEREC dental crown

Tooth preparation: Inspection, The doctor prepares the tooth by removing damaged tissue or old filling.

Scanning: instead of a traditional impression, a 3D scanner is used to create a digital model of the tooth.

Crown design: Based on the scan, the computer will design a crown that closely matches your tooth.

Crown fabrication: a special ceramic block cutter produces the crown in minutes.

Fit in: The crown is attached to the tooth with dental cement, adjusted for a perfect bite and it's done.
